Everlasting Stories

Today is my birthday.. Actually getting older makes a birthday less exciting than couple years ago.. I didn't celebrate my birthday at office, I told them to celebrate it tomorrow since there will be more people to eat the cake.. I didn't celebrate it today but I got to eat Tous Les Jours cake at the Korean Family's house before teaching the sisters.. I was so happy..
I didn't celebrate it today but I got some beautiful messages from my family and friends.. even from my former Boss.. that was unpredictable.. I feel blessed..
I didn't plan to celebrate it today but when I came home, my boarding house mates gave me cakes and celebrate it with me.. I can't ask for more than this..
This is my birthday, I am 27 years old, still as childish as a 17 years old teenager.. still waiting for my prince charming.. still wondering about my future...
However, I am blessed with a good family, kind-hearted friends who spent their time just to send messages and celebrate this day with me..
Dear Allah... Thank you, thank you for everything you've given to me up until now.. I can never repay it even with my life.. I promise I'll love You more... :)

Talking about my family is a never ending story.. hehe
My family is number one for me, well you can say my life's purpose..
I can sacrifice everything for my family.. 😊

My main family consists of Papih, Mamih, Kurdin and Upil.

*Papih
My father is forever my hero. Recently I found out that my father's characters changed since he moved to Bandung. He became so dependant to my Mom.. It's not something bad since he has to work harder here.. hehe just thought that he could be childish at times..

*Mamih
Mamih is always the same, she loves us unconditionally, too much sometimes.. I want to give my best for mamih, she deserves it.. sometimes I'm afraid that she might work herself too much, but I try to believe in her.. Mamih is always positive minded and too generous towards others.. I can't never be like her.. Her heart is bigger than the mountain.. I love Mamih more than myself..

*Kurdin
He is a very nice little brother even though he can be problematic at times.. We are so different to the point that I can't understand the way he thinks.. I try to believe in him, I hope he can be a better person..

*Upil
My second little brother is pretty much similar in character to me.. We're both introverted and intelligent.. However, I think he is more determined than me.. He is self-centered sometimes (maybe because he is the youngest in my family) but I hope he can be our family's hero in the future..

FYI, my zodiac is Libra. I was born in late September. Hemm, to be honest some of Libra traits don't fit me, like a Libra girl is supposed to be a social butterfly but I'm not. It might be because of my introverted side.
However, the rest of the traits matched me well..

Libra girls are indecisive, wise, like beautiful stuffs and responsible.

Whenever I buy stuffs or decide something, I always need second opinion. Making a decision is definitely a challenge for Libras.

Overall, I like my zodiac. :)

Hemm .. let me think of it first...

I am excited for a new traveling destination. The last time I traveled was in May and I need a vacation now..
I am planning to go to Korea this winter but haven't booked the ticket yet..
My boarding house mates ask me to go with them to Yogyakarta in December and if my trip to Korea is cancelled, I think I might go to Yogyakarta! I am going to take my mom with me.. she needs more relaxing time, too.. hehe

To begin with, "pet peeves" means something that a particular person finds especially annoying. (This is an unfamiliar phrase for me, hehe .. yaay! I got new knowledge today!)

So, my 5 pet peeves are:

1. People who smoke without considering non-smokers around them.
I think they are the most egoistic humans. I get irritated easily with these people.

2. Strong body odour.
Since I have a sensitive nose so it's disturbing me if I have to smell a strong body odour in a public place.

3.  Lateness.
I always train myself to be on time whenever I have appointments with people. So, it's really annoying if I have to wait for more than 30 minutes. I think, people who are always late they don't appreciate other people's time. Lateness itself is the sign of indiscipline thus I don't like it.

4. Sudden changes in schedule/ procrastination.
I like to plan everything ahead of time so I am really annoyed by sudden changes and procrastination. It messes up my plans because I am not good at improvisation and I like it if everything is well-planned.

5. Talking to strangers.
I am not good at making a small talk, so it makes me annoyed and anxious to talk to strangers, especially in public transportations.

Today's my best friend wedding, so we decided to follow her wedding's dress code.
It was Indonesian batik skirt with baby pink blouse and pink hijab.
I looked pretty good today. Hehe
So happy to see my best friend finally married her office crush.

Well, two years ago I was in a relationship with a guy who was also a teacher at my friend's school.
Actually, there was no sparks in our relationship and my father seemed like he despised my ex. Thus we broke up.
However, I might hurt him on that day since he updated many sad quotes and videos on his sosmed. Truthfully he never said anything in front of me on that day, he said he was okay and he wasn't against my decision to break up with him.
Seeing his posts on his sosmed made me sick of him and I decided to unfollow him and deleted his numbers.
I actually wanted to say that it's not his fault, we were just not meant to be. I hope he can be more honest and open up to his next girlfriend instead up sharing his feelings on sosmed (which I think not so gentleman at all).
I hope he can forgive me and have a happier relationship. :)

My whole day is pretty much the same. I think I have to change this routine soon.

05:00 - turned off alarm.
06:00 - turned off my second alarm.
07:00 - snoozed my third alarm for couple of times.
08:00 - finally woke up! Yay!
08:05 ~ 09:00 - cooked rice, washed dishes, took a bath, had a breakfast while putting on my make up + watched kdrama (wow! so multitasking)
09:05 ~ 10:00 put on hijab, threw trashes, off to office.
10:05 ~ 10:30 got off at poins square, walked to office, bought lunch and dinner at plaza 2.
10:35 ~ 13:00 - morning slot (mostly had nothing to do) at office.
13:05 ~ 15:30 - classroom and teaching preparation.
15:30 ~ 18:20 - Taught FR16 class.
18:30 ~ 18:55 - otw to river valley residence to teach Dahyun and Dain.
19:00 ~ 21:00 - teaching the Korean sisters.
21:05 ~ 22:00 - otw home by transjakarta + gojek.
22:05 ~ 23:00 - washed my face, skincare routine, sleep!

Talking about some books that I love is always interesting!
I love comics, especially rom-com genre. 
Recently I've finished re-reading Tears of Sheep by Banri Hidaka.
It's about a girl (Kei Hasumi) who struggled to find a ring in Kyosuke Kanzaki's room. They lived in the same neighborhood. They were also classmates.
What I like about this comic is its characters. The author made all characters has their own stories that related to each other. This comic has many quotes, too.
My favorite character is Kakeru Suwa, he is a positive-minded character who has unpredictable acts. Most of quotes came from him as he made Kei and Kanzaki's life values changed.
"Start from what makes you happy" and the philosophy of strawberry milk are my favorite part of him.
This comic is good for healing process.
I would 100% recommend this book if you're a quotes lover just like me.. hahaha

Well, despite my zero improvement of love life, I strongly feel like I need to move on from my workplace now. So, I'm planning to apply for a new job next month. I haven't decided yet whether I will work in Bandung or stay in Jakarta. I will discuss it with my parents first.
I hope everything runs well. Maybe in a new place, a new beginning of love life will bloom. Hahahaha :p

1. Buy me food
     Especially my favorite food such as; strawberry flavored food, matcha flavored food and seaweed flavored food.

2. Listen to my stories
     Most of the time, I am a good listener. However, there's a moment when I want to vent out everything in my mind to someone, I used to have one person in the past but not anymore.. If you listen to me attentively, you'll definitely win my heart. 😆

3. Ask me out for a date
     I like to go to new places or event once in a while, especially places related to Korean or Japanese culture.

4. Write me a letter
     I really love handwritten notes, even if it's only a short letter I will appreciate it. I used to get this from Nia and Mijra.. hehe

5. Make me laugh/ smile
    Sometimes I have weird humor taste, but I'll definitely fall for somebody who can consistently makes me laugh or smile.. hehe I used to have an office crush who liked to tease me every single day.
